Each night students have homework. They are expected to complete a math worksheet and to read a baggy book that I send home, each night. I sent a letter with suggestions of how they should read the book each night.  We have been working hard on sight words.  If you would like a set of sight words to practice with your child I will be happy to make them for you. Just let me know.

A communication tool that I will be using this year is Class Dojo. Parents that are using this site are enjoying having more contact with me. It is much easier for me to "Dojo"  you to let you know something special that has happened with your child that day or to let you know that your child is sick. Consider signing up.
